Private Treatment

There are certain treatments that we cannot provide under the NHS framework. These treatments primarily consist of cosmetic procedures aimed at enhancing the appearance of teeth and smiles. While we recognise the importance of these treatments for many patients seeking to improve their aesthetics, it is essential to note that there are often equally suitable alternatives available through the NHS.

Our team is dedicated to discussing these options with you, ensuring that you are informed about the best possible solutions for your dental needs.

We believe in the importance of delivering quality care that meets both health and aesthetic goals, and we are here to guide you through your choices, helping you achieve a beautiful smile that complements your overall dental health. Your satisfaction and wellbeing are our top priorities, and we strive to provide you with the information and support you need to make the best decisions for your oral care.

Dental Hygiene

The hygienist’s main role is to professionally clean the teeth for the patient. This is usually called scaling and polishing. However, perhaps their most important role is showing the patient the best way to keep the teeth free of plaque. The hygienist will work with your dentist to provide care tailored to your needs. Our 3 hygienists are available 7 days a week from Monday to Sunday.

In addition to standard cleaning procedures, we also offer advanced treatments such as Airflow® therapy. This innovative technique uses a combination of air, water, and fine powder to gently remove plaque, stains, and bacteria from your teeth and gums. Airflow® therapy not only enhances the effectiveness of the cleaning process but also provides a more comfortable experience for patients. Our hygienists are trained in this state-of-the-art technology, ensuring that you receive the highest standard of care during your visit. With our dedicated team by your side, you can feel confident that your dental hygiene is in expert hands.

Mouth Guards

A mouthguard is a specially made, rubber-like cover which fits exactly over your teeth and gums, cushioning them and protecting them from damage.

It is important to wear a professionally made mouthguard whenever you play sport that involves physical contact or moving objects. This includes: cricket, hockey and football – which can cause broken and damaged teeth; and American football, boxing and rugby – which can all cause broken or dislocated jaws. A mouthguard will help protect against these events.

If you take part in any of these contact sports please ask us about our range of custom made mouth guards.

Orthodontic treatments

Our NHS patients may benefit from orthodontic treatments, a criteria for which is to finish it by the patient’s 18th birthday (and a lot of strict clinical conditions too…). Those who do not qualify for NHS braces (or wish to have a more aesthetic alternative to the “traintracks”) may be interested in invisible braces, such as Invisalign or Inman aligners.

Those who prefer a fixed, yet descreet option for straightening their teeth may benefit from Six Months Smile treatments. To discuss all your options, please consult your dentist – or contact us to book a consultation with one or our smile experts.
